“Utilizing Cellular Therapy in Hair Transplant Surgery and Non Surgical Treatment of Hair Loss Diseases”

This past September, 2011, I was asked to present our four years of experience using cellular therapy in hair transplant surgery and in the non-surgical treatment of hair loss conditions such as Androgenic Alopecia (male/female pattern hair loss), Alopecia Areata and Discoid Lupus at the International Society of Hair Restoration 19th Annual Meeting in Anchorage, Alaska.

Please keep in mind that lectures and presentations at this level are highly objective and presenters’ must adhere to strict guidelines discussing positive and negative observations. This is not a subjective Internet posting, but an unedited copy of the presentation. Lectures are strictly limited to 7 minutes so all four years must be condensed into 7 minutes, which is impossible, non the less, is a summary of our experience.

Another observation that has come to light since this presentation has been that those patients who experienced positive results: we find multiple treatments over four years have a cumulative positive effect.

In other words, their overall hair character improves, they experience less extreme shedding and they have an increased aesthetic density in both transplanted and non-transplanted hair. This may also be do to advances we have made in the preparation of the cellular therapies in that time period.

While cellular therapy is relatively new in hair in the past 4 years we find it extremely safe and have not experience any side negative effects to date.

The best way to evaluate a patient is to arrange a personal, in-depth consultation. However, this is impossible for many patients who fly in from other parts of the country or world. For this reason we have developed the remote consultation package, which is an acceptable alternative to the in-person personal consult.

Once your photos and questionnaire are reviewed, we will telephone you to discuss your questions or concerns regarding the procedure. You will also be given a suggested treatment plan and the costs involved. Click here for more complete information on our free on-line hair restoration consultation process.
