In hair transplantation, hairs that are genetically programmed to grow for a lifetime are surgically removed from the patient’s donor area and transplanted to the male pattern bald area. These transplanted hairs, which are resistant to the effects of dihydrotestosterone (DHT) will then grow for the patient’s lifetime. Once your photos and questionnaire are reviewed, we will telephone you to discuss your questions or concerns regarding the procedure. You will also be given a suggested treatment plan and the costs involved.
