Bio FUE™, is an exclusive Biotechnology procedure developed by Greco Medical Group when combined with Neo Graft technology, enhances your result by speeding up healing and increasing the yield of transplanted hairs.
Phase 1: Regenerative cells from you blood are infused into the FUE donor site for rapid healing and to promote the growth of transected hairs.
Phase 2: All follicular units are then bathed in your growth factor (protein) rich culture medium to reduce cell death and help increase the yield of transplanted follicular units
Phase 3: Finally you’re enriched cells are injected into the transplanted area to promote faster healing, rapid hair growth of the transplanted hairs and also to improve the quality and aesthetic density of your existing non-transplanted hair.
What are the Advantages and Disadvantages of FUE?
The main advantage of follicular unit extraction FUE is an undetectable donor site because small .8 mm and .9 mm punches are used to extract the bundles of 1, 2 and 3 hair follicular units. The donor area heals rapidly because it is less invasive. It is the procedure of choice for those with smaller areas of hair loss and for those who want to keep their hair short.
The main disadvantage is that with FUT more hair can be transplanted than with FUE so if a patient has a large area of hair loss FUE will not be as dense. Also, the donor area will thin out depending on how many sessions are required and it is more expensive. Aesthetic design varies with the surgeon designing your hairline so FUE or FUT is simply a harvesting technique.
Innovation, experience, research and biotechnology are the keys to our longevity in hair transplantation. GMG has preformed over 15,000 hair restoration surgeries the past 30 years and Bio FUE™ is the latest surgical advancement.
The best way to evaluate a patient is to arrange a personal, in-depth consultation. However, this is impossible for many patients who fly in from other parts of the country or world. For this reason we have developed the remote consultation package, which is an acceptable alternative to the in-person personal consult.
Once your photos and questionnaire are reviewed, we will telephone you to discuss your questions or concerns regarding the procedure. You will also be given a suggested treatment plan and the costs involved. Click here for more complete information on our free on-line hair restoration consultation process.
