Joseph F. Greco, MD

Joseph F Greco III, MD, is the Medical Director of Greco Medical Group and third generation Greco performing hair restoration, following his father and grandfather Joseph F Greco MD, since 1958.  Dr. Greco is a double board certified, fellowship trained dermatologist and Mohs surgeon.  He completed his fellowship training in Mohs micrographic surgery, cutaneous oncology and laser surgery at The David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and is board certified by the American Academy of Dermatology in both Dermatology and Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery. 

 

Dr. Greco spent 15 years at UCLA where he was the Director of UCLA Santa Monica Dermatology as well as Health Sciences Associate Clinical Professor in the Division of Dermatology, Department of Medicine.  During a highly successful career at UCLA, Dr. Greco has performed over 15,000 Mohs micrographic surgery procedures. 

 

Dr. Greco has been recognized as one of Southern California’s rising stars, a TopDoctor in Los Angeles as well as a SuperDoctor in Southern California from 2016-2022.  He has an extensive list of book chapters and journal articles and has appeared as a faculty presenter at national conferences and workshops on surgical anatomy, advanced surgical reconstructive techniques, cutaneous oncology, hair transplantation and novel laser and light source technologies. 

 

Dr. Greco is fulfilling a lifelong dream to work alongside his father and bring his vast experience in Dermatologic surgery and Hair restoration to an already cutting edge, three-generation family tradition in hair restoration.
