Orogen Plus (PRP with a “protein matrix”)

Second Generation PRP

What is the importance of a “matrix”? Think of a matrix as a “scaffold”. The scaffold entraps growth factors allowing the healing capable cells to multiply and remold the area of injury.

Figure 1(above left) is an electron microscope image of the matrix while Figure 2(above right) is a view deep inside the matrix illustrating how the protein entraps the growth factors. Since it takes the body longer macro picture of the scalpto break down protein, the growth factors and healing capable cells remain over the treatment area longer allowing more new cells to attach promoting healing.

Independent studies conclude that, “GF–ECM complexes may well be the most effective and efficient method to stimulate cell proliferation, as well as tissue healing or regeneration”.

The best way to evaluate a patient is to arrange a personal, in-depth consultation. However, this is impossible for many patients who fly in from other parts of the country or world. For this reason we have developed the remote consultation package, which is an acceptable alternative to the in-person personal consult.

Once your photos and questionnaire are reviewed, we will telephone you to discuss your questions or concerns regarding the procedure. You will also be given a suggested treatment plan and the costs involved. Click here for more complete information on our free on-line hair restoration consultation process.
